Google has deemed Sat's Child a great place to put the trailer for Taking Woodstock.
What a perfect opportunity to introduce you to Everyday People's Susan Barnett, who just happens to be a native of Woodstock, NY!
In Notes From Woodstock, she fills us in on Life in her hometown before and after it became world famous.
Susan also happens to be a professional journalist.
In Taking Woodstock, she tells about interviewing director Ang Lee and then watching the movie, and that she came away from both with the impression that foreign-born Lee "got" what the festival was really about.
Not the music, or the drugs consumed, but the extraordinary sense of community forged in peace and harmony by half a million strangers over three days in 1969.
Have a great day!

Incredible...I never saw this post, never knew it was here to thank you for it. I did have an amazing zoom in readership right around that time and just chalked it up to Woodstock nostalgia.
Thank you so much for the kind words and the feature!
